Lawrence Gabriel was Born in Detroit, Michigan, USA in 1953. He holds a BA in Human Communication from Michigan State University and a MA in Speech Communication from Pennsylvania State University. He is married to Diane Foss and is the father of Tasia Gabriel. He is an award-winning journalist, poet and musician. He started training with Sam Purdy in 2005.
